LEAGUE


LEAGUE is an acronym for Leaders Establishing Annual Gifts Underwriting Education.

League is the Foundation's annual faculty and giving campaign. Donations to the LEAGUE campaign support LLCC students through the LEAGUE grant program, scholarships and other funds, including the “Pay It Forward” fund which helps students with emergent needs. LEAGUE is an acronym for Leaders Establishing Gifts Underwriting Education. Last year approximately 32% of LLCC faculty and staff contributed. Our thanks to our generous LLCC faculty and staff for donating nearly $50,000 to the LEAGUE campaign!


LEAGUE grants were announced at the LEAGUE kickoff.  Faculty and staff make these internal grants possible through their generous giving to LEAGUE. The following departments and programs received awards:

2023 LEAGUE Grant Recipients

  • Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program – hydrocephalic neonatal head phantom used for training students to recognize abnormal pathology
  • Surgical Technology Program – recording equipment Equipment allows students to demonstrate the skills they learn without having to wait for the instructor to be free
  • Radiology Program – leg supporting device Equipment for trauma radiography that is similar to devices currently used in the clinical setting
  • LLCC-Taylorville – Construction Occupations Program – carpentry equipment.
  • Academic Innovation and E-learning – smart conferencing cameras
